Magno Gaudio
Magno Gaudio is my olfactory workshop in the heart of Florence, where, as an Oltrarno craftsman, I create fragrances with my hands and head, thinking of them with my heart. Magno Gaudio, from Latin, is an intense joy. Expression of sensory enjoyment enclosed in a perfume bottle with an old-fashioned design.
I wanted to open my workshop in the heart of the Oltrarno area of my city, Florence. I chose one of the most elegant streets, linked to the world of antique dealers and furniture that lives in a time span ranging from the 1920s to the 1940s. Details through which you can read my story, my experience, and my tastes. I have a visceral relationship with Florence. When I left as a young man, for more or less long trips, my first thought on returning was to run to see Florence from above. I needed it, and I felt a very strong emotion. My shop was an alley in ancient times. You can see it from the ramparts on the walls, and from the tabernacle, a slip that led to Palazzo Pitti.
Here today I work perfumes since their creation with an artisanal method and I guide people in choosing and discovering their own Magno Gaudio.
